Lillian Lee Carnahan, age 89, of Limaville and formerly of Hartville, passed away Wednesday evening, January 31, 2007 in Alliance Community Hospital. She was born on October 29, 1917 in Gainesboro, TN to the late Radford and Callie (Dennis) Moss. Lillian moved to Hartville in 1954 and had worked for the F.E. Schumacher Company, the Isley's Store and the Pantry. She was a member of Hartville Church of Christ and enjoyed crocheting and quilting and had a special love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband Odell in 1984, two sons, Alvin and Edward, two sisters and four brothers. Survived by a daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Kenneth Oblisk of Limaville; sons and daughters-in-law Billy and Susan Carnahan of Kensington, Charles and Kim Carnahan of Evansmill, NY; sisters Mabel Ferrell and Dorothy Majors both of Nashville, TN; 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM in the Hartville Church of Christ with Dean Miller officiating. Interment in Mount Peace Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 2-5:00 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville and one hour prior to services on Monday 10-11:00 AM in the church.
