Lewis A. Miesel, age 91, of North Canton died Sunday afternoon in Aultman Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Elwood City, PA to the late Okey and Rose M. (Teets) Miesel he had resided here since 1953. A member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Mr. Miesel retired from Kempthorn Motors after 33 years of service. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters: Alliene Brandt and Leatrice Drotleff and two brothers: Lloyd and Clayton Miesel. He is survived by his wife of 38 years: Yvonne (Walker) Miesel of the residence. Daughter: Mrs. Michael (Karen "Doody") Zemanski of Nevada. Three sons: Gregory Miesel of N. Canton, Gary (Valerie) Miesel of S. Carolina, and Donald Miesel of Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Six grandchildren , six great grandchildren . Sister-in-law: Janet Miesel, two nieces and three nephews. Funeral service will be Thursday 12 Noon in Holy Cross Lutheran Church with Pastor James Menke and Pastor Theophil Voss officiating. Interment will be in New Franklin Cemetery.
