Obituary

Leonard D. Trenner, age 73, of North Canton, died Saturday afternoon in Massillon Community Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Hillsdale, MI he had resided here most of his life. Leonard was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War and was retired from the Army National Guard. He retired in 1995 from the Akron/Canton Regional Airport where he was a Heating/ Air Conditioning Engineer. In addition to his parents: Charles & Lillian (Wight) Trenner he was preceded in death by a brother: James Trenner and his wife of 40 years: Barbara Trenner. Leonard was a volunteer with the American Red Cross, was a member of Western Reserve Fly Fishing Club, Amvets and the American Legion. He is survived by two daughters: Mrs. William (Beth Trenner) Oschenbine of N. Canton and Kim Trenner of the residence. Three grandsons: John Michael, Jason Ryan and Donnie Dale Grimm. Funeral service will be Wednesday 10:30 A.M. in the Spiker-Foster-SHRIVER Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. Interment will be in North Canton Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6 to 8 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Red Cross 2213 Cleveland Ave., N.W. Canton, OH 44709.
