Leonard A. Merlino, age 83, of Canton, died unexpectedly Sunday, Sept. 6th. Born in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Charles & Sara (Purpura) Merlino he had resided here since 1988. Preceded in death by his wife Mary E. "Babe" Merlino in January of 2007 he is survived by a niece: Kathi Tuersley and three nephews: Tom (Sharon), Terry, and Ken (Deb) Tuersley. Leonard was a compassionate and loving Uncle who will be deeply missed. According to his wishes a graveside service was held, and interment was made next to his loving wife "Babe" in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
