Leona Ann "Lee" Menicos, age 82, of Canton, passed away Wednesday morning. Born in Waynesburg to the late Jack and Mary (Vinci) Cozzoli. During the mid fifties Lee studied music and sang opera in New York City and also competed in the Miss USA pageant in Dennison, Ohio. She was an Avon Representative for 44 years and life member of Little Flower Catholic Parish. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Menicos and a son, Christopher. Lee is survived by her loving daughter, Lisa Pileggi and 5 loving grandchildren; Vincent Jr., Anthony, Michael, Mia and Nicholas. Brother, Albert Cozzoli and her Yorkie dog, Macy, which she dearly loved also survive. A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Monday in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. NW with Rev. Dennis Woodruff officiating. Friends may call on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. A private interment will be held for the family in North Lawn Cemetery.
