Leon D. King and Ellen N. King, both went home to be with the Lord within days of each other. Leon was born January 28, 1938 in Uniontown, Ohio to the late John and Mary (Overholt) King and passed away on Thursday September 27, 2018 at the age of 80. Ellen was born August 28, 1932 in Nowata, Oklahoma to the late John and Lizzie (Miller) Nisly and passed away on Tuesday October 2, 2018 at the age of 86. Both Leon and Ellen grew up in the Hartville area, Leon farming on the family farm and Ellen attending Eastern Mennonite College and Kent State to be a teacher. They married April 25, 1959. Leon pursued a life time commitment to ministry and served as Bishop for Hartville Conservative Mennonite Church, Faith Haven and of Hebron Congregation. Ellen had taught for the Hartville Christian School. They were rarely apart from each other. Now their togetherness continues in Heaven.

They are survived by three children Mike (Brenda) King of Uniontown, Dan (Cindy) King of Columbia, SC, Candace Mount (Robert DeWoehrel) of Wooster; grandchildren Adam King, Rita (Tom) Rinehart, Tristan and Brooke King, Ian, Katie and Ryan Mount; great-granddaughter Cameron Rinehart; King side siblings: Glenn King, Richard Miller; Nisly side siblings: Cass Nisly, Jan Nisly, Elsie Bliler, Alma (Melvin) Miller, Ruby (Joe) Schrock, Lorene Coblentz, John (Karen) Nisly.

Preceded in death by King side siblings: Sarah King, Arlene Miller, Leona and Fred Mick; Nisly side siblings: Al Nisly, Edna Blough- Miller (Robert Blough, Noah Miller), Ralph (Ruth) Nisly, Norman Nisly, Frances Nisly, Owen Coblentz, Gayle Nisly.

Calling hours are Friday 4-7 PM at Hartville Conservative Mennonite Church. Funeral services are Saturday 10 AM in the church. Final resting place is Walnut Grove Cemetery.
