Leah Logan, age 85, of Hartville, passed away on September 21, 2024. She was born April 16, 1939, in Canton to Martine and Vivian (Rouse) Shier and graduated from Hartville High School class of 1957. Leah worked for Lake Local Schools in the cafeteria and was a long-time volunteer at Quail Hollow in the Quail's Nest Gift Shop. Leah was active within the Middlebranch Grace Brethren Church for many years and had a tremendous love for the Lord. Leah enjoyed cross stitching, quilting, and crafts of all kinds.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Tyrus; siblings Frederick, Rebecca, Betty and Richard; sister-in-law Shirley Shier. She is survived by her very devoted and caring son Randy (Kim) Logan; several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Linda Shier.

Graveside services will be held Friday, September 27 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Peace Cemetery with Celebrant Kevin O'Brien. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Stark County Humane Society.
