Larry C. Ringer, 83, went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 1st, 2023. Larry was born on June 18th, 1940, in Canton, Ohio to the late Harold and Bertha Ringer. He is survived by Cynthia Ringer his wife of 62 years and his daughter Kristin (Carl) Stoyeff and son James (Juli) Ringer. Larry was blessed with grandchildren Rachel (Colin) Cameron, Elizabeth Stoyeff, Samuel (Lynnea) Stoyeff, Jordan (Mackenzie) Ringer, Abi (Jeremy) Shafer, Anna (Brock) Jenkins, and Andrew Stoyeff, and six great grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers Eugene (Judy) Ringer and William (Candace) Ringer, and sister Carol Ringer.

Larry grew up in Hartville, married his high school sweetheart Cynthia, and worked at several places including seven years at Sugardale Foods. In 1972, he and Cynthia along with Cynthia's parents formed Ohio Earth Food a natural organic fertilizer business where he developed the Revita brand of organic fertilizer and Plant Pro Potting Soil. He was a pioneer in the growth of the Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association where he served on the organic certification board for seven years. In 2018, he and Cynthia were awarded the Stewardship Award in recognition of outstanding contributions to the cultivation of sustainable agriculture.

Larry was a faithful member of the Hartville Church of the Brethren and later Canton First Church of the Nazarene where he was active on church boards and Work and Witness projects. The past several years he was a member of The Chapel in Green. He enjoyed farming with his son Jim, fishing, golfing, and woodworking. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends including playing "crab" with his grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 9th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at St. Jacobs Lutheran Church, 1460 State Street N.E., North Canton, OH with a Memorial Service to follow at 4:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to The Chapel in Green.
