Larry Lee Long, age 59, of Hartville passed away on Sunday morning October 3, 2010. He was born in Spencer, WV on January 5, 1951 to the late Lark and Ella Mae (Phillips) Long and was a Vietnam Navy Veteran. He worked for the Longaberger Company for 29 years. He enjoyed fishing, old trucks, riding his motorcycle and gardening. The light of his life was his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Janice, with whom he would have celebrated 36 years of marriage on November 2; son and daughter-in-law Marc and LaShell Long and grandchildren Pason and Zoe all of Norton; parents-in-law, Frank and Jennie Opeka of Hartville; sister Debbie (George) Parker of NC; brothers David (Rose) Long of Spence, WV, DeWayne (Alexis) Long of Akron, Kenneth Long and Ronald (Melody) Long all of NC; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by a son Jason in 1979. Calling hours are Thursday 5-8 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home. On Friday calling hours are 10-10:30 AM in the funeral home and the procession will leave at 10:30 for graveside services scheduled Friday 11:30 AM in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
