IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Larry R.
Blasiman
November 2, 1945 – December 3, 2025
Larry Blasiman passed away on December 3rd, 2025, in Munroe Falls, Ohio at the age of 80. He is survived by his son Matthew Blasiman. Larry was born to Russel and Ester Blasiman in Marlboro Ohio on November 2nd, 1945. He was one of five children: Dave, Don, Denny, and his twin brother Gary. He was drafted in the US Army during Vietnam and afterwards graduated from Kent State University. He went on to work for Nationwide Insurance in human resources until he retired. Larry was well liked and respected by the people that worked with him.
As an unapologetic Cleveland Browns fan, he rarely missed a game. He was a voracious reader and student of history. For much of his life he was an avid runner. He loved drinking coffee on a crisp fall day with his friends from Nationwide whilst discussing sports or politics. Later in life he developed an interest in firearms and spent many afternoons shooting with his son.
Larry Blasiman was calm, gentle, and had wry sense of humor. He was a source of sage advice when life became uncertain. He was a steadfast friend, a generous father, and a good man. His wisdom and wit are sorely missed.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, December 12th from 4-6 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home, 1517 Market Ave. N, Canton, Ohio, 44714.
