Lane Boydelatour, age 54, passed away on March 5, 2014 due to cancer. He was born to parents Les and Dorothy (Freday) Boydelatour May 1959. He is survived by his brother Lynn and sister-in-law Jill, sister Laura Scaglione; nieces Renee, Andrea; nephews Phillip, Daniel, Anthony; nephew-in-law Gabe; great-niece Audra; also many aunts and uncles. Lane worked at Lomeda Services in Massillon and Pegasus in Hartville. He lived at Lomeda Independent Living Residence on Wales Rd. with 3 of his buddies. He was in Special Olympics and won medals in basketball and bowling. Over the years he lived at Rockhill in Alliance and East Sparta. He enjoyed camping with his family and also at the ARC in Carrollton. Lane's caring nature gave him a special ability to remember others on their birthdays and special occasions and he made cards for them. The family wishes to thank the Lomeda Independent Living Staff for their wonderful care over the years. They were truly family. Thank you to the Doctors, Nurses at Mercy Medical Center and Hospice Home Health Services for great care. Thank you to the Crystal Park Methodist Church where he attended and the congregation's love shown to him. He touched many lives and many touched his life with love and respect. Services will be held Monday at 2:00 PM at the chapel at Sunset Hills Memory Garden with Pastor Gary Smith officiating.
