Kyle Steven Pavkov, age 29, of Akron, passed away on Saturday May 13, 2017. He was born on August 20, 1987 in Canton, OH and was a graduate of North Canton Hoover High School and Stark State College. He worked as a senior welder for Powell Electrical Manufacturing. Kyle and Melissa Oeffner met while working together at McDonald's during high school. They dated and were married on September 15, 2012. He found joy being outside, working on cars, building, cooking, riding his bicycle, and caring for his family. His son became the joy of his life.

He is survived by the loves of his life wife Melissa and 3 year old son Theodore; parents Carrie and Robert Pavkov II; parents-in-law Marcia and Kenneth Oeffner; grandparents Janet and Robert Keefe, Clyde and Marlene Shearer, Robert and Elizabeth Pavkov; grandfather-in-law Edgar Young; siblings Robert "R.P."Pavkov III and Emily Pavkov; sister-in-law Donna Staubs; brother-in-law Christopher and Melissa Scott; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephew and friends.

Kyle was preceded in death by grandmothers Jacqueline Pavkov and Christine Shearer; and brother Jeremy Staubs.

Calling hours are Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Hope United Methodist Church, 2650 Cory Ave., Akron, OH 44314. Funeral services will be Thursday 5 PM in the church with Pastor David McGrath officiating. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made directly to the family for Theodore's future.
