Kristen K. Scaife, age 53, of Hartville went home to be with the Lord on January 18, 2024, in her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Barnesville, Ohio on July 26, 1970, to Dan and Ila (Christman) Watson and is a graduate of Malone College, earning her bachelor's degree in music education. Kristen worked as a preschool teacher and most recently as an educational aid at Lake Center Christian School. She was known for her artistic abilities ranging from making crafts with her daughter Hadassah, to singing with her church, teaching piano, and dancing. Kristen also enjoyed being outdoors whether going for a walk in the woods or exploring the mountains while traveling, she relished her time in nature. Kristen cherished her time with all her family and friends, and she will be missed by all.

Kristen fought a long battle with breast cancer, never gave up hope and her faith along the journey. Thank you to all of those who supported her.

Kristen is survived by her parents Dan and Ila Watson; husband Steven Scaife; daughter Hadassah; brother Danny Watson.

Private burial will take place at Henry Warstler Cemetery. A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the Star in the East Messianic Congregation at 4120 Matindale Rd NE at 6:00 PM.
