Kenyon D. Love, age 91, of Canton passed away Saturday morning November 16, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born on July 1, 1922, in Canton to the late William and Nellie (Brownstein) Love. Kenyon graduated from Lehman High School, attended The Ohio State University, and then received his law degree from William McKinley School of Law. He has been a practicing attorney in Canton at his Love Law Office. He was a member of the Ohio and the Stark County Bar Associations and the Towne Club Toastmasters. Kenyon was also vice-president of the Colonial Foundry in Louisville. He was active as a leader, scoutmaster, and commissioner with the Boy Scouts for over 45 years. He was a long-time member of Temple Israel. He served one term on the Ohio State Board of Education from 1968-1972. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Lenore Wolman Love; daughter Roberta (Lewis) Shilane of Joplin, MO; sons Samuel Love and William (Rosemary) Love of Canton; grandchildren Philip (Julie) Shilane, David Shilane, Amy (Brent) Phipps, Joel Love and Anna Love; great granddaughter Sarah Shilane; and sister Bessieanne (Howard) Weinstein of Phoenix, AZ. Funeral service date has been changed to Thursday 1:00 PM at Temple Israel with Rabbi Jon Adland officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. (Arnold 330-456-7291) www.arnoldfuneralhome.com
