Kenneth G. O'Neal Finally home on April 6, 2009, Kenneth left this world and stepped on the shores of Heaven due to natural causes at the age of 92. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on January 25, 1917, and lived in this area his whole life, except when he entered the 3 C's (Civilian Conservation Corps). He was a loving husband to Helen D. (Killgrove) O'Neal (deceased) and a faithful father to: Delphine A. Reigle (deceased), Dolly M. Robinson (James), Pastor Kenneth G. O'Neal Jr. (Marilyn), Pastor Joseph D. O'Neal (Kay), Jay Michael "Mickey" O'Neal (Cheryl) and Ruthie L. Rauber (Tom). Ken and Helen would have been married 67 years on August 23rd. He was a proud grandfather of ten grandchildren: Michael O'Neal, Kimberly Gallo, Aaron Rauber, Amy Rauber Storey, Jennifer O'Neal Morgan, Julie O'Neal, Joseph Scott O'Neal, Joanna O'Neal Moore, Lammoth O'Neal, Jaymeca O'Neal. He also has 5 step-grandchildren: Tammy Robinson Duecker, Maria Robinson Snead and Tracy Robinson Coblentz, Jessica Hosfeld and Joshua Selden. He has twelve great-grandchildren. Ken spent the largest part of his schooling at Mogadore School but graduated from Camp Echo (C.C.C. F-184 Co. 2525) in Fort Missoula District, Fort Missoula, Montana. His employment included: Fragile Box Company, Canton Corrugated Box Company, St. Regis Paper Company, currently called Georgia Pacific. As a Pastor he was licensed by Rev. Carl Burnham, the founder of the Chapel on Fir Hill. At the time of his death he attended Portage Community Chapel. Calling hours are Thursday, 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday, 10 to 11 a.m. in the Arnold Funeral Home, Hartville. The funeral is Friday 11 a.m. in the funeral home, with Pastor Barry Shahan officiating.
