Kenneth L. Oblisk, age 69, of Limaville, went home on Tuesday December 7, 2010 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family. He was born August 22, 1941 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to the late Raymond and Mazie (Jones) Oblisk and graduated from Randolph High School in 1959. He met Nancy Carnahan and then married her on March 29, 1962. He went to work for General Motors in 1965 and retired from the Lordstown Plant in 1985. He was a member of the Hartville Church of Christ. His hobby was woodworking and he was especially proud of his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Nancy; children Kimberly and William Stimmel of Minerva, Reo Oblisk and fiancée, Cheri Cooper of Alliance, Kevin and Linda Oblisk of MA, and Michael and Heather Oblisk of WV; grandchildren Jennifer and Benjamin Stimmel, Zachary and Katherine Oblisk, Kurt and Kenzie Oblisk, Hallie, Riley and Brynn Oblisk; great-grandson Andrew; siblings Loretta Smith of FL, David (Carol) Oblisk , of Tallmadge, Esther (Bob) Smith of Ravenna, Eleanor (Don) Jones of Tallmadge; sister-in-law Mabel Oblisk of Munroe Falls; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by brother Warren (Eddie) Oblisk and infant sister Geraldine. Calling Hours are Friday 2-4 & 6-8 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home Hartville. Funeral services are Saturday 11 AM in the Hartville Church of Christ with Dean Miller officiating. Calling hours are in the church Saturday 10:30- 11 AM. Final resting place is Mount Peace Cemetery.
