Kenneth W. Moore, age 72 of Louisville went to be with the Lord Wednesday June 28, 2006 while celebrating life. Born May 6, 1934 in Akron to the late John and Rosa (Cain) Moore, he graduated from Marlboro High School. He served his country in the United States Army and finished his education receiving a Masters from Kent State and Eastern New Mexico Universities. Ken retired from the Stark County Board of Education after a full career teaching and coaching at Lexington and Rootstown. He expressed his entrepreneurial spirit in several business adventures. He was very active in Hartville UCC, Marlboro Lions Club, International Ozone Assoc. and various educational organizations. He was a member of Louisville American Legion, attended Science Hill UCC and when wintering in Florida attended Palm Coast Ministries. Preceded in death by parents, brother S. Gerald Moore; he is survived by his wife of 47 years Blanche G.; children, Brent (Christina) Moore of Alliance, Carmen (John) Fackler of Pittsburgh, PA, Kevin (Karen) Moore of Alliance; grandchildren, Aleina Moore, Augustus, Isaac and Elijah Fackler, Brittany, Kelsea, Brandi and Lindsea Moore; brother and sisters-in-law, Harold and LaVera Moore and Miriam Moore all of Hartville; nieces, nephews and an abundance of friends. Visitation will be Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home, Hartville. A brief Lions Service will start the evening calling hours at 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be Monday 11:00 AM in Science Hill United Church of Christ, 12316 Beeson St.,NE, Alliance, with Pastors Barry Stirbens and Stu King officiating. Calling hours are in the church Monday 10-11 AM. Final resting place is Marlboro Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Science Hill UCC , Marlboro Lions Club or a favorite charity.
