Kenneth E. "Ken" Laughlin, age 86, of Suffield, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, September 19, 2018. He was born on August 22, 1932 in Arnoldsburg, WV to the late Raymond and Lillie (Walker) Laughlin. Early on, he grew up in a life of hard knocks which inspired him to be an inventive and hard-working man. He met and married Norma Scharff in 1950. He retired from Monarch Rubber Co. after 27 years of service. He enjoyed nature and the outdoors. He is deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Roger and Elaine Laughlin; grandchildren Michael (Ashley) Laughlin, Tiffany (John) Keith; great-granddaughter Maggie Keith; sister Carol Owens; sister-in-law Mary Lou Coder; and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Norma; brothers Raymond and Burton.

Calling hours are Saturday 10 AM- 11 AM at Arnold Funeral Home and funeral services begin at 11 AM conducted by Pastor Mike Williams. Final resting place is Hillside Memorial Park.
