Keith Shoemaker, age 38, of Marlboro Township, died Sunday night, March 29, 2015 in Aultman Hospital. He was born January 7, 1977 in Parma, Ohio. Keith had worked for Rice's Nursery. He graduated from Marlington High School in 1996 where he was on the field crew for the band. Keith was a camper and later a counselor at Matthew Salem Camp in Northfield, Ohio and he attended East Nimishillen Church of the Brethren where he was active in the youth group. Keith is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Ruth Shoemaker of Marlboro Township; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kevin and Brandy Shoemaker of Louisville, James and Kelly Shoemaker of Hartville, sister and brother-in-law, Kathryn and Donald Penny of North Canton; nieces and nephews, Abigail and Johnathan Shoemaker, Xerena, Brody, Finnegan and Sylas Shoemaker; paternal grandmother, Betty Shoemaker; maternal grandmother, E. Rosemary Frey, and good friends Charlie Owens and Teri Fodor of Medina. Preceded in death by a brother, Jonathan Shoemaker; paternal grandfather, Donald Shoemaker and maternal grandfather, William Louis Frey Sr. Calling hours will be Friday 4-7:00 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville and Saturday 10-11:00 a.m. at East Nimishillen Church of the Brethren. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Rev. Vern Hostetler and Rev. Matt Reed officiating. Interment will be In the Church cemetery.
