Kathryn E. Worthington, age 83, of N. Canton went home to be with the Lord Saturday afternoon in St. Luke Lutheran Community. Born in Canton to the late Ralph & Ethel (Skelley) Benson she was a 1941 graduate of McKinley High School. A former employee of People's Drug Store in Louisville and Sugardale, she had attended First Christian Church and Community Christian Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sister: Dorothy Huenergardt, brother Ralph Benson and daughter-in-law: Sheridan Worthington. She is survived by two sons: Robert (Pamela) Worthington of N. Canton and Waldo (Peggy) Worthington of Katy, TX; a daughter: Mrs. David (Linda) Schmucker of N. Canton; Grandchildren: Heather & husband Brian, Eric, Jeff, Mike & wife Jenny, Todd & fiancé Erin, Stephanie, Tess, and Samantha; two great grandchildren: Grace and Simon; and Brother: Paul Benson of Loudonville, OH. Funeral service will be on Wednesday 12:00 P.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. with Pastor Donald Rice officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
