Kathryn Slabaugh, age 95, of Hartville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday July 4, 2021 at The Homestead. She was born March 16, 1926 in Dublin, Pennsylvania to the late Howard and Alice (Alderfer) Landis. She met Andrew Slabaugh while at a hymn sing and they married January 18, 1947. They were early members of the Hartville Mennonite Church and she served helping with the Hartville Thrift Shoppe. Since her youth, she played the piano and enjoyed reading.

Preceded in death by husband Andrew 1989; and brother Linwood Landis. She is survived by children Marjorie Mumaw, S. Scott (Debbie) Slabaugh, Lon (Jane) Slabaugh, Sherry (Dave) Domer, Ryan (Beth) Slabaugh; 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; sister Pauline (Glenn) Rutt; and other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Friday 3-4 PM and funeral services begin 4PM at Evermore Community Church with Pastor Butch Nisly officiating. Final resting place is the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Hartville Thrift Shoppe.
