Kathryn (Papas) Edie age 86, of Canton, went to be with her Lord on Thursday. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard B. Edie. Survivors include her daughters, Miss Andrea Edie and Katie (Roy) Newlon of Canton; grandson, Drew (Noelle) Newlon of Tyndall AFB, Fla.; granddaughter, Kristy Newlon of Perrysburg, OH, and one sister. Mrs. Edie had been a Henri Fayette/Chryson representative (Chicago, IL) for 36 years. She was a retired school bus driver. A private committal service has been held. Mrs. Edie was a member of Church of the Savior United Methodist, where a memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 15th.
