Kathleen Robinson, age 83 of Canton went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning July 22, 2008 with her family by her side at McKinley Health Care Center. She was born January 31, 1924 in Buffalo, Ohio to the late Mark and Sara (McCaig) Dolan. She has been married 64 years to her high school sweetheart Bob who she met in the McKinley High School Band. Kathleen was a retired secretary of Mellet Homes. A member of Greenwood Christian Church, and Canton Woman's Club, she volunteered for the Red Cross. She gave her family many happy memories through summer campouts and boating. She enjoyed cooking for her family and gardening and loved family tradition. She is survived by her loving husband Robert; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Sherry Robinson of Canton; daughter Debra Robinson Slutz of Oberlin; grandchildren R.J. Jr. and Amy Slutz of FL, Kristen and Rick Perez of FL, Matthew Slutz and Brian Slutz both of Oberlin; great-grandchildren Michael and Jonathan Perez, and Hannah and Carson Slutz; siblings Evelyn Moorhead of Cambridge, Harold Dolan of AZ; sister-in-law Berdine Harmon of MI; other relatives and friends. Friends may call Thursday 6-8 PM in the Arnold Funeral Home Canton and one hour prior to services Friday 10-11 AM. Funeral services are Friday 11 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Tim Bancroft officiating. Final resting place is Sunset Hills Burial Park. Memorials may be made to Greenwood Christian Church.
