Kathleen M. Biris, age 77 years young, of North Canton died Tuesday afternoon in Mercy Medical Center after a brief illness. Born in Canton to the late Myles and Catherine (Chevraux) Clark, she was the matriarch of Biris Jewelers. Kathleen was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and of the Gemological Institute of America for Diamond Grading. She had taught at St. Barbara's and loved her students, she was past president 1983-85 of the Walsh University Women's Committee of which she was a member since 1972. A truly lovely lady, caring, a friend to all, a strong woman with integrity, loving ,humble, loved people and was very compassionate. Kathleen enjoyed life and loved to have parties for her friends, and enjoyed shopping especially with her companion "Hugo". She was also known to be a very charitable lady and was a most loving Mother and did everything for her children with whom she enjoyed traveling. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years Costas J. "Gus" Biris, daughter: Catherine Biris, sister: Monica Clark and brothers: Patrick and Richard Clark, also preceded by her French Mastiff "Hugs". Kathleen is survived by a son: John C. Biris and a daughter: Judith A. Biris and her companion/buddy "Hugo". Following a private funeral service interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery.
