Karen Marie Slack, age 71, of Canton, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021. She was born in Canton to the late Carl and Margaret (Elsaesser) Schmidt. Karen was employed by the Hoover Company and the Akron Canton Airport. She loved cocker spaniels and her favorite place to be was in Disney World.

In addition to her parents Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph. She is survived by daughter, Joanne Marek, son, Randy Slack and grandchildren, Josh and Abby Marek.

Funeral service will be 2:00pm Tuesday, March 23, 2021 in the Arnold & Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. NW with Rev. Nancy Conley officiating. Entombment in North Lawn Mausoleum will follow. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
