Karen S. Kershner, age 62, of Plain Township , passed away on Sunday July 3, 2011. Born in Akron on September 12, 1948 to the late William L. and Olive M. Church, she graduated from Springfield High School and attended The University of Akron. She enjoyed gardening, reading and her family. She is survived by her husband of 39 years James; children Kenneth (Stacey) Kershner of Plain Township, Jamie (Jimmy) Wachtel of Los Angeles, CA, and Jason (Kim Luxeder) Kershner of Plain Township; grandchildren Wolfgang Wachtel and Kaylah Kershner; other relatives and friends.
