Karen Klugh Dowell passed away peacefully, March 15, 2019, after a long-extended illness. Karen was preceded in death by her Parents, Pearl & Willard Klugh of Akron, Ohio & her Father-In-Law, Harold Dowell, MD. of Canton, Ohio.

Karen is survived by her Husband of 27 years, Douglas Dowell of Canton, Ohio, her Daughter, Alexandra Dowell & her boyfriend Joshua Cuenot, both of Canton, Ohio. Karen has a Brother, Irvin Klugh, of Hartville, Ohio. A Sister, Pam Harris of Barberton, Ohio. Karen has several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, & uncles from both sides of the family.

Karen was a Para-Legal and worked for several Law Firms, both in Cleveland & Akron. She spent many years in the banking industry, working for First Merit & Premier Bank & Trust. She helped many clients over the years with her knowledge, generosity and understanding. These characteristics were demonstrated in all of Karen's relationships. She always had a smile on her face and time to listen, a lost art. Her favorite times were those spent with her family; taking trips to Naples & Key West, Florida. Karen would parasail with her daughter, Alexandra, thoroughly enjoying the experience. Her daughter was one of her best friends.

Her loving and compassionate smile will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her. A celebration of life will be on March 30th from 2 to 7 P.M. at 7861 Morningstar Drive, Louisville, Ohio.
