Karen S. Dittmore, age 73, passed away Wednesday evening, August 30, 2017, in Mercy Medical Center, surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in West Virginia, but lived the majority of her life in Canton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Jackson and Lois (Brady) Jackson-Braghieri; her husband of nearly 53 years, James J. Dittmore; her eldest sister, Marilyn (Jackson) Waugh-Wingerd and eldest brother, Dewey Jackson. Karen's surviving siblings are Darlena (Deane) Martinez, Sandra Sikora, Frances (Edward) Overdorf, William (Brenda) Jackson, Beverly (Michael) Henderhan, Michael Braghieri, Joseph (Laura) Braghieri and Anthony (Tamara) Braghieri; children, John (Cynthia) Dittmore, Jacqueline (Christophe) Dittmore-Molitor, Christina (Frederick) Schuster and James(Lisa) Dittmore; grandchildren, Aaron Dittmore, Anthony Hardy, Taylor Dittmore, Emily Hardy, Danielle Schuster and Christophe's sons, Adrien and Antoine Molitor; Great-Grandson, Tristan Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2017 in the Forest Hill Mausoleum. Please sign the guest book.
