Julia C. Condit, age 82, of Canton passed away Tuesday morning May 29, 2007. She was born in Canton on February 16, 1925 to the late Henderson and Ella (Ward) Carson. Henderson Carson had been a two term Congressman. Julia graduated from Lehman High School and Wooster College. She was working in the Wooster College Library when she met Frank L. Condit. They married on her college graduation day June 9, 1947. Frank preceded her in death on January 24, 2002. Julia was an active church member of Christ Presbyterian Church and had volunteered at Mercy Medical Center. She enjoyed breakfast the first Monday of every month with high school classmates. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Meredith and George Wright of Houston, TX; son Harold Carson "Hal" Condit of West Chester, PA; sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Len Snyder of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Layna and Brad Harkins, Joshua and Abbie Condit, Sarah and Ron Bronson, James and Kim Wright and Adam Wright; great-grandsons, Ethan and Like Harkins; nieces, nephews and Andy. Friends may call one hour prior to services in the Christ Presbyterian Church Parlor Friday 10- 11 AM. Funeral services will be Friday in Christ Presbyterian Church Chapel at 11 AM with Pastor Wendy Bausman officiating. Final resting place is West Lawn Cemetery.
