Judy Marie Scott, age 67, went home to be with Jesus after a ten month battle with cancer on March 28, 2007 in her residence. A lifelong resident of Canton Judy was a 1957 graduate of McKinley High School. She always had a smile on her face, was a wonderful homemaker and a friend to everyone she met. Judy cared about everyone and never put herself first, she will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. She was a loving wife, Mother, Daughter, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend. Judy was an active member of First Lutheran Church in Canton participating in the sewing group and helping in the soup kitchen. Preceded in death by her Father: Clarence Murphy, she is survived by her husband of forty seven years: Ralph Scott, sons and daughters-in-law: Brett and Lynn of Canal Fulton, Todd and Teresa of Canton. Grandchildren: Brittany and Michelle of Canal Fulton, Tiarra and TJ of Canton. Mother: Rosemarie Mitchell of Louisville. Sister: Diana Quillen of East Canton, many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Saturday 11:00 A.M. in First Lutheran Church with Rev. George Keeler officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call Friday (today) from 4 to 7 P.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. and one hour prior to the service in church on Saturday.
