Obituary

Juanita Weaver age 50, of Orrville, entered Christ's presence on August 19, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Although Juanita was very quiet, she was an inspiration for all who knew her not only in the way she lived, but also in the way she fought and accepted metastatic breast cancer. Juanita was born in Canton, Ohio on February 19, 1968, to Alvin and Dorothy (Miller) Shrock. After Juanita's two children were in school, she successfully completed a master's degree in nutrition, becoming a registered dietician. She was blessed to work for the J.M. Smucker Co. for 10 years where she made many wonderful friends who supported her throughout her cancer battle. The environment at Smuckers allowed her to reach her full potential doing what she loved. Juanita grew to enjoy running and successfully ran the Cleveland marathon in 2015 in memory of her father. She was a veracious reader and very dedicated to her morning devotions, prayer, and meditation time. She passed as she lived, very calmly and full of peace.

Juanita is survived by her husband of 31 years, Joe; children, Brendan and Alyssa of Orrville; mother, Dorothy of Hartville; sister, Katrina (Mike) of Hartville; two brothers, Shannon (Rebekah) of Canton and Dustin (Tenille) of Canton; mother-in-law, Rachel of Hartville; brothers-in-law, Ray (Gina) of Brevard, NC, Wayne of North Canton, Herm (Cindy) of Nederland, CO, Myron (Sheryl) of Berlin, David of North Canton and John (Marcia) of Broadway, VA. Her father, Alvin Shrock, and father-in-law, Herman Weaver, preceded her in death.

Juanita found much comfort in the full Serenity Prayer. It was her hope that everyone would live as it spoke to her, peacefully and cherishing the most important things in life.

Calling hours will be Friday, August 24 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 at Maple Grove Mennonite Church, 2121 Smith Kramer Street NE, Hartville. The funeral will be on Saturday, August 25 at 10:00 am, also at Maple Grove Mennonite Church with Pastor Larry Augsberger. Her final resting place will be Walnut Grove Cemetery in Hartville. Memorial contributions may be made to LifeCare Hospice of Wooster.
