Joycelyn Irene Huctwith passed from this life to the next on Dec. 13 ,2023. Born to Harrison and Amelia Burris on March 26,1930 in Philadelphia, PA, Joy was raised in San Diego, California until the passing of her Mother. Then she moved to Johnstown, PA and lived with Mabel Burris (Step-Mother).

Joy attended Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where she was a loved member.

Joy had many different jobs but worked the most years as a Radiation Oncologists transcriptionist at Aultman.

Joy leaves 4 boys, David (Deb) Wertz, Douglas Wertz, John (Lori) Wertz and James Wertz; Grandchildren Ashlee (Kingsley), Kaitlyn, Megan, Emily, Elizabeth, Joshua, and David.

Joy enjoyed dancing with her beloved Ken Huctwith, the beach and sun, taking long walks with her dog Corki, playing cards with friends, and blessing people with her Christmas cookies that she would spend hours on.

We would like to Thank the ladies that loved and cared for Mom at home for years Jen, Charlotte, Georganne, Tammy, Amanda, Marsha and Sabrina.

Mom will be missed but the Joy and Hope we have because of her Faith in Jesus Christ we will be reunited when Christ returns.
