Obituary

Joyce W. Perry, a long time resident of Lake Cable passed away Sunday. Born in Stamford, CT to the late Stephen & Matilda (Voska) Waldman she has been a Canton resident since 1968. Joyce graduated from Stamford High School and is an Alumni of Beaver College (Arcadia) in Pennsylvania. She resided and worked in New York City as an editor for Cosmopolitan Magazine. She was an active contributor to JFK's campaign, enjoyed politics and was constantly up to date with current political affairs. Joyce retired in 1997 from Stark County Social Services as an Adoption Investigator. She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Mario (Elisa) Jarrin of Reading MA, and Cynthia Perry of the residence. Son: Stephen Perry of Little Rock, AR. Two grandchildren: Roberto & Yolanda. Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday in Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. with Pastor David Tebbs officiating. A private interment will take place for the family.
