Joyce DiRenzo, age 81, of Perry Township went home to Jesus on March 19, 2009. Joyce was born to the late Harry and Nellie Tempelton in Manchester, England. She grew up during WW II with the relentless bombing of Great Britain, which helped shape her "Johnny Bull" attitude. Her mother and father managed a dance hall in England where Joyce developed her life long love of dancing. After her retirement from Republic Steel she opened Palise DiRoyal Shoes, for ballroom dancing. Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Gene DiRenzo, who honored his vows, "In Sickness and in Health." She is loved and will be sadly missed by her 3 sons David (Diane Cowell) Ellis of Canton, Mark DiRenzo of Massillon and Mike (Tammy) DiRenzo of Denver, CO. 4 grandchildren; Michelle (Chuck) Hillman, Brennan, Haley and Brian DiRenzo and 3 great-grandchildren; Brielle, Cody and Kayleigh Hillman, many nieces and nephews and the Paolozzi's, Broadhurst's and Templeton's of Manchester, England. Funeral service will be Sunday, 2:00 P.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave. N.W. with Rev. Gary Smith officiating. Friends may call from 12 noon until the time of service on Sunday. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery.
