Joshua C. Keener

Joshua C. Keener, age 36, of Hartville died due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident November 1, 2026. He was born in Akron on March 9, 1990, and was a graduate of Springfield High School class of 2009. Josh loved hunting, fishing, motorcycles of all kinds, and anything that involved going fast. Josh was always the life of the party, bringing laughter, unforgettable memories and good times to everyone who were lucky enough to call him a friend.

He is survived by his fiancé and girlfriend of 20 years, Kala Massouh; children, Jayden, Karsen, and Kamden; Father, Greg (Karen) Keener; Mother, Diane (Scott) Sprankle; sister Chelsea Keener; half-sister Lily Keener; stepbrothers Zack Starcher and Ben Starcher; paternal grandparents Liz Keener and Arelene Sprankle.

Josh is preceded in death by grandparents Pam and Duane Yerkey and Marvin Keener.

Family will receive friends Thursday, November 5, from 3-5 PM at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville. Funeral service will begin at 5 PM in the funeral home with Minister Kevin Kiser officiating.
