Joseph L. Putt, age 62, of Hartville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday January 22, 2022. He was born in Berkeley, California on July 21, 1959 to the late Wendell and Esther (Westover) Putt. A graduate of Kenmore High School, Joe earned his BSBA in Finance and MBA in Finance at The University of Akron and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He received his CPA in 1985. Prior to joining ComDoc where he became Chief Financial Officer, Joe was VP of Finance at LTI in Ephrata, PA, of Eagle Plastics in Stow, and of Heinick Apple Accounting in Akron.  He was a graduate of Leadership of Akron 2001- 2002 Class and a member of the University of Akron's Financial Advisory Board.   He was a member of The Chapel in Marlboro and Congress Lake Country Club.  Joe was an Honorary Board Member of Big Brothers, Board Member and Treasurer of Project LEARN of Summit County, and always involved in his son's sports. He especially loved golfing, mountain biking, his German Shepherds and traveling with his wife.

He is survived by his high school sweetheart Denise (Plusquellic); son and daughter-in-law Jonathan (Chelsie) Putt; granddaughters Caroline, Ariana and Meliah; grandson on the way; sister Meri (Danny) Laurita; nephew Vincent Laurita; mother-in-law, and other relatives and friends; and devoted K-9 Blitz. Preceded in death by father-in-law.

The family will have a private funeral on Saturday with Pastor Joel Cochran officiating and final resting place is East Nimishillen Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held later this year for all family and friends at The Chapel in Marlboro.
