Joseph Allen McGinnis, age 81 passed away at Aultman Hospital on November 8, 2011. Joe was born March 8, 1930 in Cambridge, Ohio to Bryan and Olive McGinnis. He grew up in Scio, Ohio and was an employee of the Scio Pottery for over 20 years. In 1972, he and his beloved wife, Maemarie, moved to Louisville, Ohio. He retired from the Hoover Company in 1995. He is survived by his wife Maemarie; his daughter and son-in-law Belinda and Bob Manard of Canton; son and daughter-in-law Joe and Nancy McGinnis of Louisville; granddaughters Kristy Foster, Shelby Guttu and Makenzie Manard; and five great-grandchildren.
