Joseph Milton Bradley was born on February 4, 1939 in Luverne, Alabama. Joe went home to the Lord on Monday April 11, 2011 after a brief illness with his family by his side. After graduating in 1957 from Canton South High, Joe entered an apprenticeship program at Kent State for the Timken Roller Bearing Co. where he received certification as a Master Machinist. He retired with 33 years of supervisory service with the Timken Co. Within his working career, Joe also retired from Freshmark Foods. He was a long and faithful member of Eternal Light Church, baptized in the name of Jesus and filled with the Holy Ghost. He served as an auxiliary officer and a strong mentor and friend to the youth and his community. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Charlene; son Joseph Milton II (Teresa); daughter Robin Gayle; step-daughter Odessa Davenport; grandson Alphonso Andreas Green; granddaughter Regan Oliva Strenger; step grandchildren Alayah, Anthony and Tyler Davenport; three brothers Michael, Ralph (Charlene) and Tony (Karen); two sister Anne Watkins and Vicki (Michael) Singleton; and a host of relatives and friends that loved him dearly. Preceded in death by his parents Milton L. and Annie Kate Bradley; first wife Shirley; infant son Maurice Joel; sister Katie Frances. Calling hours are Friday April 15th April 6-8 PM at Arnold Funeral Home, 1517 Market Ave.,N in Canton. Funeral services are Saturday April 16th at 11 AM with visitation one hour before service at LIFE Ministries Church, 2651 Market Ave.,N in Canton with Pastor George Dunwoody and Pastor Ralph Bradley officiating.
