Joseph Michael Bestic, age 43 of Glendale, Arizona passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 7, 2015. He was born in Canton September 9, 1971. Joseph graduated from Jackson High School in 1989 where he played football, wrestled and was a pole vaulter on the track team. He then graduated from Kent State University in 1994 and was currently working toward his Master's Degree at Northern Arizona University. He was Director of Nursing Homes working for Health Related Advisory Group. Joe was an avid sports fan following the Browns and Buckeye's. He was a collector of sports jerseys, had several other collections and was passionate about classic cars. Above all things, Joe was a dedicated and loving father to his children, Jacob Joseph and Alexander John Bestic. He is also survived by his parents, Jean Harmon of Canton, Richard "Dick" Bestic (Faith) of Canton; sisters Lisa Gojanovic (Vinko) of Massillon, Eve Bestic of Parma; step brother, Christopher Barress (Melanie) of Jefferson, Ohio ;mother of his children, Sandra; nephews, John Mark and Henry Tobias, Christian Barress; nieces, Gabriella and Alaina Barress; aunts, Mary Jo Petrilli (Joseph) and Joan Turowski (Walter). He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ida and Joseph Sepack and Joseph and Barbara Bestic. Calling hours will be Wednesday 5-7:00 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Canton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday 10:00 a.m. in St. Anthony/ All Saints Catholic Parish with Fr. Thomas Bishop as Celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
