Stewart Timpe
April 14, 1948 – September 13, 2021
John (Jack) Stewart Timpe of Jupiter, Fla., passed away Monday, Sept. 13, 2021. Jack was born April 14, 1948, in Southern Ohio. Jack attended school in Canton, where he graduated from Lehman High School, and received an accounting degree from Kent State University.
Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Japan during the later years of the Vietnam War.
Jack experienced a long and illustrious career in the mortgage business, the mortgage technology business, and for the past 20 years he was the owner of a mortgage company. Jack felt privileged to be able help people become homeowners.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Olive Timpe, his brothers Fred, Harry and Raymond and his sister, Helene. Jack leaves behind Julie, his wife of 25 years, and his two children and their spouses, John and Elizabeth Timpe and Lisa (Timpe) and Marc Suhanyi, his grandchildren Stephen Timpe, Maren Timpe and Ryan Suhanyi, sisters-in-law Betty Timpe and Barb Timpe, along with many beloved nieces, nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.
Jack was a servant leader at Family Church Jupiter and had a real passion for helping people find God's design for their life. Jack enjoyed golf, warm weather, traveling and mostly spending time with family and friends. His kind heart and sweet spirit will live on.
Calling hours will be Friday, Sept. 24 from 5-7 p.m. at Arnold Funeral Home, 1517 Market Ave N, Canton. Funeral services are set for Saturday, Sept. 25 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Jeremy DiBartolo officiating. Burial is in Northwood Cemetery in Cambridge.
