John Palombo, age 79 of Hartville, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, February 5, 2014 in his residence with his family by his side. He was born October 2, 1934 in Canton to Emelio and Loretta (Caravella) Palombo. John was a retired carpenter having worked for Seese and Sveda Construction Co. He is survived by his wife, Brenda; daughters, Sherry Hostetler of Piedmont, Ohio, Joni Ober of Green, Shelly Robinson of Elliot; sons, Johnny Palombo of Springfield, Anthony Palombo of Hartville; sister, Liz Walker of Hartville, grandchildren, great grandchildren and cherished friends. John was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Palombo. He was also survived by three truck loads of antiques and a laugh that will never be forgotten. Private family funeral services were held Friday, February 7, at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph Township.
