John Dueber Farrell, age 85, of Canton passed away Friday night May 17, 2013. He was born April 28, 1928 in Canton to John C. Farrell and Mary Dueber Farrell Eberman. He graduated from Lehman High School and Kent State University where he was captain of the track team. After many years in sales and advertising he retired as Vice President of Sales from Massillon Container Corporation. John was a member of Church of the Covenant. He is survived by his wife Joyce Richbourg Farrell; daughters Jennifer Fairer of Boulder, Colorado, and Jane Swan of Copley, Ohio; grandson Michael Swan and granddaughter MacKenzie Swan; 2 nieces and 2 nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; and brothers Joseph A. and David F. Farrell. Friends are welcome to join family at a graveside service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday May 21, 2013 at North Lawn Cemetery, 4927 Cleveland Ave., N with Dr. William Watt officiating.
