Obituary

John Dinger, age 87, of Suffield Township, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013 in Altercare of Brimfield. John was born on December 2, 1925 in Brimfield to the late George and Mary (Riley) Dinger and graduated from Tallmadge High School. John was very proud to have served as a medic in the US Army during WW II and could always be found wearing his WW II Army Veterans hat. He was a mechanic and retired from the Fruehauf Trailer Company. He is survived by his wife Evelyn; daughter Donna (Mark) Crandall of Doylestown; two sons John C. (Carol) Dinger of Milwaukie, OR and Richard (Laura) Dinger of Evansville, IN; sister Mary Hogue of Akron; brother Joseph Dinger of Suffield; four grandchildren Shannan Quist, Chadd Dinger, Betsy Dinger and Katie (Hector) Lopez; five great-grandchildren Brandon, Caitlyn and McKenna Quist, Kaylee Dinger and Brady Lopez. Following cremation, services with Military Honors will be held on Friday, July 5, 2013 at 10:30 AM in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.
