John Mark Barkman - Age 65 Born: June 26, 1947 Died: July 28, 2012 After a courageous fight with cancer, John Mark Barkman was received by the Lord Jesus into His Presence on July 28, 2012. John grew up in Burton, Ohio as a farmer and moved to Hartville in 1968 and is the current owner of Hartville Radiator & Tire. John is the beloved husband of Susan and father of Heidi, Daniel and wife Yadira, Kathleen, and William, brother of Janet and Dan, and grandfather of Dylan, Maya, and Naiyana. He is preceded in death by parents, Hank and Cora, and son John Mark, Jr. John will be known as a man who loved life, helped many, was a great story teller, and had many friends. Over the years, his tire shop became the gathering place for many of his friends. He departed this life to be ever with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. John is an active member of Abundant Grace Ministries in Uniontown, Ohio. All services will be at the Hartville Church of The Brethren, 353 Crestmont Ave. SW in Hartville. Friends may call on Wednesday, August 1 from 4:00-8:00 PM and 9:00-10:00 AM on Thursday, August 2. The funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, August 2 at 10:00 AM, with Pastor William Mitchell officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Peace Cemetery in Hartville.
