Joel G. Moskowitz, age 76 of North Canton, died Tuesday night, December 27, 2011 in Aultman Hospital. He was born July 23, 1935 in Cleveland to Albert and Bess (Rogovin) Moskowitz. Joel was the retired owner and operator of Huebner's Cleaning and was a member of Shaaray Torah Synagogue. He was an avid motorcyclist and a skilled wood craftsman, and his dog, Buddy, went with him every day for coffee and to run erronds. Preceded in death by his first wife, Elaine in 1995, a son Craig Moskowitz in 2009 and a son-in-law Daniel Karlen in 2011 and a sister Maureen Mittelman. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Sally; daughters, Marla (Dan) Householder of Corpus Christi, Texas, Jill Karlen of Canton; daughter-in-law, Michelle Moskowitz of Whitehouse, Ohio; step daughter, Debbie (Rex) Snyder of Coshocton, Ohio; step sons, Ray (Rene') Jacobs, Van (Jennifer) Jacobs of Stuart, Florida; brother-in-law Sidney Mittelman and 14 grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday 1:00 p.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Canton with Cantor Bruce Braun officiating. Interment will be in Canton Hebrew Cemetery.
