Joan M. Wittensoldner, age 90, of Hartville, passed away on Friday June 9, 2017 at St. Joseph Care Center where she recently resided in the Memory Unit. She was born August 18, 1926 in Rootstown, Ohio to the late Fred and Grace (Blubaugh) Bolanz. She was a letter carrier for Hartville Post Office retiring in 1989. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church and the Legion of Mary and was past president of Harrisburg Altar Rosary Society. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies Society and Garden Club of Randolph. She loved gardening, playing cards and family.

She is survived by her children Jim (Rudy), John (Peg), Larry, Laura (Harvey) Zimmerman, Les (Bobbie), and Joe (Patti); 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; and brother Dave Bolanz. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Louis who passed in 2006; son Jeffrey; and daughter-in-law Deb.

Calling hours are Monday 4-8 PM at Arnold Funeral Home Hartville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday 10 AM at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Final resting place is the church cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Joe's Catholic School in Suffield.
