Joan C. Mulcahey Adams, age 88, of North Canton passed away December 28, 2023, in her home. She was born in Akron on September 13, 1935, to Arthur B. and Anna L. (Wurzbacher) Conger and is a graduate of Kent State University where she was a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority. Joan was an elementary special education teacher in the Plain Local School District. She was a member of the Atwood Yacht Club, Needle Arts Guild, and active in several local bridge clubs.1

She is preceded in death by her 1st husband E.J. "Bud" Mulcahey and 2nd husband David Adams and one sister and brother. She is survived by her children Jeffrey (Becky) Mulcahey, David (Sherry) Mulcahey, Jeannie (Chuck) Jacobs, and 6 grandchildren.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at the Arnold Funeral Home at 1517 Market Ave N from 1-2 PM. Memorial Service will begin at 2 PM with Pastor Jared Priest officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
