Joan P. Morrison, age 91, of North Canton, died Wednesday afternoon in Crandall Medical Center Sebring, OH after an extended illness. Born in Cambridge, OH to the late Raymond and Margaret (MacDonald) Polen. She was a resident of North Canton since 1968. Joan was retired from Miller Sales and had worked in the Canton City Schools. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and OES #580. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband: Robert J, Morrison in 2006. Joan is survived by her daughter: Bethanne (Dale) Miller of N. Canton. Granddaughter: Kelli (Brian) Liddle also of N. Canton. Sister: Phyllis Ann Mehaffey of Cambridge, OH. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 20, 2014 in Faith United Methodist Church with Rev. Cara Stultz-Costello officiating. Interment will be in North Canton Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 5 to 8 P.M. in the Spiker-Foster-Shriver Funeral Home 4817 Cleveland Ave., N.W. (The family requests those who attend calling hours and or funeral to please wear red as this was Joan's favorite color.)
