Joan Frances Knoll, age 79, formerly of Hartville, went home to be with the Lord Sunday morning January 31, 2010 at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring. She was born October 18, 1930 in Lowellville, Ohio to Charles and Beulah (Horn) Grow. Joan was the Community Relations Representative for Don Kosty Inc. (McDonalds) and was a member of Marlboro Christian Church where she was active in the choir and Women's Ministries. She is survived by her husband of 53 years Newton; daughter Brenda Knoll of Fredericksburg, Virginia, son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Jennifer Knoll of Alliance; grandchildren Tiffani, Kayla, Kyle, Tanner, Addyson and Andrew; great-granddaughter Arianna Marie; and sister-in-law Mariko Grow of WA; and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by a brother William Grow and sister Glenrose Furtner. Funeral services will be Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at the Arnold Funeral Home in Hartville with Pastor Ed Harnish officiating. Calling hours will be one hour prior to the service 10-11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Mt Peace Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Marlboro Christian Church.
