Joan W. Clark, age 88, of Canton, passed away on Monday morning January 29, 2018. She was born in Canton on February 13, 1929 to the late A. Brooke and Elizabeth (Kimbark) Williams and graduated from Lincoln High School and Miami University. She was an Elementary School Teacher at Whipple Elementary School in Perry Township. She was a member of John Knox Presbyterian Church. Joan was a docent for the First Ladies Library.

Preceded in death by her husband Tom McFarren Clark; brother Kim (Virginia) and sister Betsy Williams; daughter-in-law Lynda Clark; and grandson Kyle Clark. She is survived by her son Kim Clark of Canton; daughter and son-in-law Susan and Erling Lee of Dublin; grandchildren Leah (Nick) Stotzer, Megan (Dan) Howard, Andrew Lee; and 4 great-grandchildren Brianna and Brayden Stotzer, Austin Travis and Harrison Lee.

A graveside committal service will be Thursday 10:30 AM at West Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Tom Houston officiating. From 11:30- 12 noon, the family will receive friends at John Knox Presbyterian Church with a luncheon reception beginning at 12 noon for all. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Assoc.
